This 4-year philosophy and politics degree programme, including an international exchange, tackles some of the most fundamental questions about political life, its principles and ideals, and their philosophical character; this course brings these disciplines of philosophy and politics together, and provides a sound academic grounding in both; students are given plenty of opportunities to bring the resources of moral and political philosophy to bear on the issues of political life; students spend a year abroad in a European country, Latin America, the US, Canada or Australia, providing they have taken relevant options in their first and second year.Assessment methods Coursework; unseen written examinations; essays.
