This interdisciplinary programme responds to the rapidly expanding two-way contact between philosophers and practitioners in the field of mental health; the course provides a unique opportunity for philosophers to have their understanding informed by the practical experiences of those working in mental health, and for practitioners to share the insights of modern philosophy;
Core concepts in philosophy, psychology and mental health practice; science, ethics and mind (case studies in philosophy and ethics; philosophy of science and mental health; ethics, jurisprudence and mental health; philosophy of mind and mental health; understanding research and critical appraisal.
