Many will relate to day-to-day life, whilst others will stretch your imagination. Philosophy, Ethics and Religious studies willdevelop the techniques of analysis, critical thinking, clear expression and coherent argument, each of which are essential to other academic subjects and to everyday life.

At the beginning I was doubtful as to wheter I would like the course. I was surprised at how much I was to learn and the teachers gave me plenty of help and inspired me. I am now off the university....more
The final year consisted of one taught session and one tutorial per month. This filled well with my teaching commitments and the supports of the tutor was always available....more
The course gave a great opportunity to work in different sectors of childcare (ie nursery, schools, etc). The tutors were friendly and easy to talk too and gave options and advice for later progress, especially in assignments....more
