This course focuses on understanding the occurrence of petroleum (oil and gas); it has, as a basis, the study of a dynamic earth, the ways in which physical environment was created, and the patterns of change that continue to alter the world around us; geology and earth sciences bring together aspects of chemistry, physics, geography and mathematics; these subjects increase understanding of the planet the course live on by the study of the past and the present as a key to future changes; on this course students focus on the geology of petroleum.
