This course will allow participants to explore different acting styles and techniques and will prepare them for progression onto university or employment within the industry. They will cover: performance workshops, performing arts business, performing to an audience, rehearsing for performance, the historical context of performance, approaches to directing theatre. After completing this course participants will progress to a degree or foundation degree in Performing Arts or employment in the industry.
Participants must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English, or Performing Arts BTEC Level 2 Diploma with a merit grade.
