This course is a practical performance-related programme throughout which students develop their existing performance skills through technique classes in singing, dancing and acting.
Year 1: Creative arts professional practice; creative arts research skills; preparation, process and production in the creative arts; development of acting skills; jazz dance technique and performance; tap dance technique and performance; singing techniques and styles; musical theatre performance. Year 2: Personal and professional development; research project; performing arts workshop leadership; acting for musical theatre; dance for musical theatre; singing for musical theatre; popular entertainment; musical theatre performance.
