This course enables participants with the equivalent qualification to an AS level in Performing Arts. This will take them through an acting training and provide a basis for life as a professional performing artist. The units include Performing to an Audience, Acting for Film and TV, Auditions for Actors and Developing the Voice of the Actor, etc. On successful completion they can progress to turn this into a Subsidiary Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting) which is the equivalent qualification of a full A Level.
Participants need 5 or more GCSEs at grades A*-C including a proven practical ability and a desire to progress in the Performing Arts.
