Course Description
The principal aim of this programme is to provide a comprehensive and critical understanding of Performance and the use of Multi-Media Texts. It looks at the development of performance skills and practices, and in the Practice as Research module, students are encouraged to develop their own research projects to bring through to fruition. The MA brings together researchers from performance, theatre, computer and linguistics backgrounds. The research is supported in the Scenography & Performance Laboratory and the Linguistics Analysis Unit, and the researchers are editors of the Scenography International e-journal and the Politeness Journal.

Assessment method
Continuous assessment, with project work and practice as research in addition to 15,000 word dissertation.
Entry Requirements
Normally, a good honours degree or equivalent in Drama, Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, Art & Design, English or a related subject. Applicants with other qualifications and suitable experience may be considered, and are encouraged to apply.
