Do you have a basic level of sewing skill, an interest in making garments, are able to make-up a commercial pattern and want to now be able to draft your own garment pattern, then this course is for you. The course will show you how to draft a basic pattern and how this pattern can be adapted to your own basic design. You will then get to turn this pattern into a finished garment. There will some input on garment construction but the main emphasis will be pattern cutting. All candidates must own a sewing machine have made-up a commercial pattern and be able to sew to a basic level of skill. Attending Garment Construction Techniques course is recommended if you are not used to making clothes.
