This course uses Posyganza - a business providing a fresh flower service to teach skills in floristry and retail. Students will gain practical work and life skills through working with flowers. It covers subjects that include: aspects of retail, floristry elements, life skills and residential. It is suitable for students with learning difficulties and disabilities and to enable them to go onto further education, training or employment.
Students will need a desire to continue their development of social skills, work skills and independent living skills. It is important that applicants also enjoy working with flowers and may want to look at working in floristry in the future.
