This course explores gardening skills and methods. It offers the chance to improve basic and work-related skills. It covers subjects that include: basic skills and horticulture elements. It is suitable for students with learning difficulties and disabilities and to enable them to go onto further education, training or employment.
Students will need to be prepared and physically able to work outdoors and have some interest in horticulture. They will also need to be able to understand and follow simple spoken or signed instructions.
