Oxford University, Department For Continuing Education Student Story

Although already and IT professional I took the Online Computing Diploma in 2002-4, gained a great deal of foundation knowledge to underpin my practical experience and thoroughly enjoyed two summer schools with you.

I took the course primarily to fill a tertiary education gap on my CV prior to moving to Australia, where I knew that I couldn't rely on reputation and contacts to find work.

I am tremendously grateful for the opportunity offered...I could never have managed the time to have taken a more traditionally delivered qualification and I know for a fact that, as a 'stranger in a strange land', I could never have reached the interview stage for the roles I've had since my arrival here without that 'Diploma in Computing from the University of Oxford' line in my CV.
