Course Description
This course covers organic kitchen gardener, recycling techniques, soil management, nutrient cycles and fertilizers, practical methods of improving soil fertility using organic methods, sowing crops outdoors and under glass, production of salads and other vegetable crops, fruit production, feeding, training and pruning techniques, methods of planting and companion planting, organic pest and disease control outdoors and under protection, crop planning to provide continual supply, organisations and trends in organic growing, historic and heritage varieties in organic growing and the use of historic techniques.
