This course is aimed at providing an understanding of managerial, clinical and research issues that develop oral surgery within dental practice, and with the complementary skills required to contribute to and influence development and evaluation of dental practice; it offers a mix of theoretical and practical skills appropriate to modern dental care and the development of oral surgery; the curriculum is continually revised to incorporate the latest proven, evidence-based scientific research, technological innovations and clinical advances; clinicians are able to apply the clinical theory, practice and associated research to the provision of oral surgery in general dental practice.
