The nature of any organisation is to provide products and services; at the heart of such provision is the operations management function, which can account for 60 to 75 percent of an organisation's operating costs, investment and assets; consequently the operations management role is challenging and dynamic, ranging from short-term control to long-term planning activities; indeed due to the critical nature of the operations management function it is highly visible and exposed to scrutiny, more so than any other function of an organisation.
Strategy and operations; innovation, creativity and enterprise; managerial finance; marketing strategy; personal and professional development; advanced operations management; global supply chain management; and students choose two from the following three modules: managing project for innovation and enterprise; visitor operations and experiences; performance excellence in business operations. Management research design and project.
