CHELSEA MUSIC ACADEMY LTD

My mission is to provide tuition for all ages of the highest quality that is taught in personalised and innovative ways.

My aim is to help you to reach conservatoire and Masters university level and beyond. I will help you find your musical voice, develop your compositional technique, broaden your repertoire, learn to analyse scores in social and historical contexts, question your intention, get to know yourselves through compositions, link you up with performers who like to perform works of living composers, guide you in building a portfolio to prepare you for higher education, give you real life briefs, show you how to work music notation and sequencing softwares such as Sibelius and Logic Studio 9, develop your aural skills and sightreading skills and generally guide you towards a career in music.

Have you ever dreamt of composinh your own music? Whether you would like some guidance on preparing a portfolio for university/conservatoire, specific commissions or even for fun, we'll offer you our experience in the fields of: • Classical music (theory, harmony, orchestration and composition), • Jazz • Arabic music (improvisation, composition and music theory) We strive to help you identify your creative core and personal musical language. Feedback will given via email or via skype.

She has written various works for the concert hall, dance, theatre and multi-media, both performed and broadcast on radio and television in the UK, Europe, the Middle-East, the Americas and Australia. Her string quartet, Eating Clouds, was among the five selected pieces in the Aberdeen International Music Prize and was performed by members of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in April 2007.
