Students learn about the diagnosis and management of obesity and common eating disorders in people with diabetes; students also gain knowledge and skills in the management of obesity and eating disorders in people with diabetes; it is intended for GPs, hospital doctors, nurse practitioners, community nurses and other health care workers involved in the care of people with diabetes; the course is taught as an intensive study block, comprising lectures, group work and supervision; the teaching and learning style is interactive, drawing on both the expert teachers and the experience of other students.
