Oaklands College is a large further education and training provider based in Hertfordshire, with campuses in St Albans and Welwyn Garden City and a further training provision in Borehamwood. Student common rooms are situated on all campuses and offer a friendly atmosphere to eat, get together, play pool or video games. A range of sports activities are available including fitness training, football, table tennis, body conditioning and aerobics. These vary each year depending on what the students demand. The College also has links with the University of Hertfordshire, so by paying an affiliation fee you can join their sports clubs too.
The wireless network at Oaklands is open to any student mobile device from laptops, to PSPs to iPhones to encourage the use of mobile learning.
