It covers the following topics: underpinning knowledge, understanding of skills in a range of key administrative functions and activities, business assignments based around the OCR units, information technology, level 1 English. the OCR units are working in business and administration, creating business documents, making and receiving calls, welcoming visitors, handling mail, career planning in administration, teamwork in administration, organise business travel and accommodation, organise meetings, handling diary systems, word processing. on successful completion of this course they could progress onto higher level qualifications like the OCR level 2 diploma in administration or could find employment in office junior posts.
