The programme content reflects the need for a breadth and depth of knowledge relating to nursing theory; research; communication; physiology and related sciences and social sciences; health policy and health care studies; to underpin the practice of nursing; the programme is divided into 2 distinct parts: the 1st year of the course is the common foundation programme which is followed by students studying their chosen branch of nursing; this year provides students with an introduction to the principles of nursing along with the study of the underpinning disciplines; students develop the essential care skills that are equally applicable in any sphere of nursing and the integration of theory and practice is supported by a variety of clinical placements; the entire common foundation programme must be successfully completed before students can progress into their branch areas.

The pace of the course is very fine. First semester is basic so its easy but in the second semester it takes you to the deep end....more
taught modules were pretty good. But wish the course length is more so that there will more time spend with the lecturers. More learning....more
