Learning clinical skills in the laboratories ensures that students develop competence in a safe, protected environment; in order to develop multi-professional and collaborative working, there is shared learning between nursing and midwifery students in areas such as biological and social sciences, informatics, research, ethics, health policy and management.
Common core of units for the 1st 12 months which include: Nursing studies; biological and social sciences; informatics; health; research and nursing practice; this is followed by specialisation in adult nursing.
