Northampton College is one of the largest general Further Education Colleges in the region, serving Northampton, Daventry, the south and west of Northamptonshire and nearby towns and villages. Approximately 13,000 students study at the College’s centres in Northampton and Daventry.

The College works closely with Moulton College, The University of Northampton and Tresham Institute. Partnerships have also been established with the Council for Ethnic Minority Communities, the Chamber and other bodies to provide targeted initiatives for local needs.

What's on Offer
Northampton College provides a very broad range of education and training through full-time and part-time academic and vocational courses as well as offering Entry to Employment (E2E), Apprenticeships and Higher Education. The college also provides training support to other organisations including the voluntary sector. Powerdriver UK, a subsidiary of the college, provides training for the logistics and distribution industries. Northampton College is also a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in childcare. The Business Centre offer a full range of training opportunities for local employers including access to the Train to Gain service.

Northampton College also has a new state-of-the-art building at Lower Mounts in Northampton, relocating Adult Education into the heart of the town. This prominent location allows learning to meet the needs of current and future learners and create widening participation amongst the various community groups within the town.
