Course Description
Nanomaterials is a novel discipline at the cross-over of material science and generic nanotechnology. It deals with the synthesis and properties of materials which have structures less that 100 nm in dimension, such as free-standing nanopracticles, nanograins in a polycystal or nanoscale inclusions, phases or films within another material. The combination with engineering demonstrates the link between the structural and functional properties of these nanomaterials with the perspective applications as novel devices engineered at the nanoscale.
Course Fees
Fees for 2008/09 are: £3300.00 increasing each year in line with inflation and subject to Government regulations

Entry Requirements
A minimum UK Second Class Honours degree (2.2) or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline. English language requirements: A pass at GCSE level in English Language (grade C or above). International students must have an English language qualification at a suitable level, for example IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
