About Us
BHP Training are a London based training company, founded in 2007. Our team has over 15 years experience of working in training, education, leadership and management. BHP Training also provides consultancy support for a number of both public and private organisations delivering high quality training and work based learning tailored, to meet the needs of both employers and employees.
BHP work with the third sector and Social Enterprise Organisations delivering support packages including; working with stakeholders and developing strategies to enable them to grow and develop their organisations.
Training
BHP Training offer a wide range of NVQ diplomas from level 1 to level 4 including Advice and Guidance, Business Skills, Customer Service and Health and Social Care.
We offer 2 options to take the initial steps in gaining a teaching qualification, either a fully taught course or a distance learning option depending on your prior knowledge.
Specialist Health and Social Care workshops to support people that either currently work or hope to obtain work in the sector. We deliver 3 different workshops in order to target all levels of staff from entry level through to staff working in a supervisory role as well as second language speakers.
Bespoke in house workshops can also be delivered to the Health and Social Care sector. BHP Training offer flexible delivery in order fit in with shift and rota patterns to maximise attendance.
Resources
We offer a series of Trainer Handbooks and Learner Workbooks that provide Functional Skills activities, English for Speakers of other languages and assessment to be delivered in class as well as independently.
BHP Training publishes a wide collection of materials and resources to support private organisations and training providers to deliver in house training and development to a diverse group of candidates. Our materials address individual needs via as well as assessment.
Our range also includes, quality assured materials which support both large and small organisations to become approved centres for Awarding Bodies, policy documents for funding applications as well as support materials to gain quality Kite Marks.

The level 3 diploma is aimed at those who are already working in health and social care settings and provides an opportunity to have their knowledge and skills recognised through the achievement of a nationally accredited qualification. The diploma is aimed at Senior Carers or Support Workers in a supervisory role, often without direct supervision. You will have a degree of responsibility and autonomy and will be required to make decisions within boundaries and limits agreed. This qualification focuses on person centred care, safeguarding of vulnerable adults and providing specialist support to individuals. For the full level 3 diploma learners will need to achieve a total of 58 credits; 28 of which will come from 9 mandatory units, the remaining from the 2 optional groups. Apprenticeships Apprenticeships are available for 16 – 18, 19 – 24 and 25 plus. To be eligible for an apprenticeship you are required to work 16 hours per week. BHP Training may be able to help you with a work placement if you are not currently working. Your qualification will exist with NVQ diploma, Functional Skills at the appropriate level and Employment Certificate. Delivery is in the workplace and also group sessions / workshops held at BHP Training. Please contact us for full details.
Whilst there are no prior entry requirements in terms of knowledge and understanding of underpinning principles of health and social care, the requirements of your role and work function will need to be demonstrated. You will have worked in your role for at least 6 months. You must be working consistently in a role that reflects the evidence requirements for the qualification.
