This course is aimed at those who would like to work or volunteer as a classroom assistant in a school and wish to gain a recognised NVQ 2 qualification. This course is portfolio based and consists of seven units four compulsory and three optional. You must have a placement (paid or voluntary) in a primary school before enrolling on the course.
You must have good command of spoken English and written English at Level 2. A written entry test will be taken to assess your English.

we are now eight weeks into this course and the college have failed to provide a teacher for the 4 hour practicals so a lab technician with pigeon english is taking it instead.but that is only part of our problems....more

The computers do not have enough software installed for us to complete certain aspects of our course. The teachers are fine . This college has given me great satisfaction overal all...more
