Myerscough College is one of the UK’s largest land-based colleges and has a strong reputation for its Higher Education courses and academic research. Established in 1894, the College has its main centre just a few miles north of Preston. The picturesque countryside campus is well resourced and extends to some 600 hectares. Resources include on-site accommodation for 750 students, a range of catering facilities, a dedicated Higher Education Centre exclusive to degree students, an International Equestrian Arena and excellent sports facilities, including a golf course. The College offers Foundation Degrees and Honours Degrees in a wide range of land-based and sports related subjects. EntertainmentThe College's popular Stumble Inn student centre hosts hundreds of different events, parties and theme nights as well as our legendary highlights - the Christmas and Summer Balls. The Students' Association organises most of these activities, co-ordinates RAG week and arranges nights out in nearby Preston, Blackpool and Lancaster. There are many other sports teams and social clubs.
