This course focuses on engaging students in the creative use of contemporary music technology systems; it builds their practical skills, whilst developing an informed technical understanding of how these systems work and how they are used in the production of today�s music.
Year 1: Music technology 1; digital video production; audio theory; camera lighting and sound; tv and radio industries; introduction to sound. Year 2: Music in industry; creative sound; documentary production; tv studio production; sound technology; work placement. Year 3: Audio post production; directing fiction; project; experimental film and video; digital broadcasting media.
