This course enables participants to gain the knowledge and skills required within music production on a personal and professional level. The broad based nature and music production opportunities ensure that they not only realises their potential and learning in active project work but are also encouraged to develop appropriate skills which will benefit them for future employment. It covers modules that include: electronics and computer music, audio recording, production analysis and re-creation, creative composition, live sound production, acoustics, sound design for AV and multi-media or web design. On completion, they can progress onto many areas of the music and audio industry.
Participants should have successfully completed two A Levels or BTEC National Diploma.
