This course encourages participants to develop performance, composition and technical skills as well as an analytical awareness of contemporary and traditional music. They will cover: creating and marketing a music product, listening skills for musicians, sound recording techniques, planning a music recording, the sound and music industry. After completing this course participants will progress to a degree or foundation degree in Music or employment in the industry.
Participants must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths or Music BTEC Level 2 Diploma with a merit grade.
