Course Description
This course covers the encompass human and computer interactions, software development, creative art and design and computer hardware systems and network. It covers the following modules: Research methods; Project; Three taught modules from: Mobile, multicast and multimedia networking; Multimedia specification, design and production; Option modules - Neural Networks and evolutionary computation; Advanced symbolic AI; Measures and models for software engineering; Distributed systems and security; Artificial Life; High-performance processor design; Microelectronics: ASICs and FPGAs plus Digital logic design.

Course Fees
Fees for 2008/09 are likely to rise by approximately 5%, from the foregoing 2007/08 fees quoted: taught & research full-time £4500 & part-time £375 (per 15 credit taught module); part-time research £1230; Professional doctorates will ordinarily charged at the above mentioned research rates, whilst DMan will cost £10000. You are advised to check with the Provider, concerning individual course fees.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should possess a recent, good bachelor's degree (e.g. honours degree from the UK) or equivalent in Computer Science or similar subject. Applicants who do not wholly meet these requirements, but who are considered to have the professional experience, motivation or potential to succeed at the programme, may also be accepted.
