Pathway on the digital technology degree programme; students learn to critically evaluate multimedia PC architectures and software/hardware system requirements.
Year 1: students follow 1 of 2 possible syllabuses depending on pathway chosen on the programme. Year 2: e-Enterprise and entrepreneurship; web services; interactive software design; markup languages and metadata; mini-project; networking and broadcasting. Work placement year: optional integrated professional placement. Final year: content retrieval; management and governance; biometrics and security; operating systems; visualisation and animation technology; individual major project (double module).
