Year 0: Study skills and mathematics; introduction to computer and multimedia technology; introduction to computer networks and hardware; introduction to computers in business. Year 1: Database management systems; discovering interaction design; fundamentals of multimedia and scripting; introduction to operating systems, architectures and networks. Year 2: Web development and scripting technologies; principles of human computer interaction; professional project development and management; principles of multimedia. Year 3: Multimedia computing project; advanced multimedia applications: design and implementation new media; plus 1 from: strategic management and information systems; novel interactive technologies; and Social, professional and ethical issues in information systems.
