During this one-day meetings and minute taking course, students will learn:

• Formulation of agendas; informal agendas; formal agendas; sample chairperson's agenda.



• The meeting: purpose of meetings; the role and responsibilities of the minute taker; preparation and procedures; different types of meeting.



• How to work with the Chairperson.



• Drafting and writing effective minutes; follow up actions, electronic meetings; developing a personal action plan.
