What's on offer
Students from diverse backgrounds, aged 18 to 80, attend for many reasons: to pursue an interest; develop personal or career goals; or as part of their degree programmes, whether studying at Middlesex or another university. Others attend to sample a specific subject area, or university life before committing to a degree.
Students can often use academic credits from the Middlesex University's Summer School towards awards at Middlesex or other universities and some courses are specially designed as access routes. However it is an individual choice whether or not to undertake formal assessment and some courses do not carry university credit.
Middlesex University's Summer School classes are small, interactive and informal, helping lecturers to meet individual student needs. The friendly mix of students ensures a rewarding and exciting opportunity to enhance learning by sharing ideas and experiences.
