BSc Honours Traditional Chinese Medicine

“I discovered Chinese medicine when reading about Chinese philosophy. Daoist philosophy is very simple and emphasises harmony with nature. I graduated from Middlesex with a first class honours in 2005, and set up my own Chinese medicine practice. I also work at the Asanté Academy of Chinese Medicine at the University's Archway campus, where the clinical practice for the Middlesex degree is taught. There I've become part of the team who provide acupuncture to women in labour at the Whittington Hospital. I believe that prevention is better than cure, in a society where people have a greater sense of responsibility, not only in regards to personal health, but to each other. Studying Traditional Chinese Medicine is a step towards achieving that vision." The BSc Honours Traditional Chinese Medicine was the first of its kind in the world outside of China."
