This course will develop practical and theoretical skills and knowledge to allow students to demonstrate a level of competence and be assessed so that they meet National Standards at NVQ level 3. It provides opportunity to apply practical skills needed with the trade area covering such aspects as, plan heating and ventilation work activities, install complex heating and ventilation systems, service and maintain heating and ventilation systems and components, design heating and ventilation systems, prepare and install piped systems by welding.
Students should have 5 GCSE grade C or above or have completed an Apprenticeship.
