This course covers the following topics: algebra, geometry, statistics and probability, as well as number. This new syllabus has an emphasis on functional Maths - they will learn to use their mathematical skills in real world contexts, as well as studying some more abstract ideas in algebra and geometry. Topics include probability and statistics; number, algebra and geometry. This unit is assessed by a no-calculator exam; number, algebra and geometry.
Students should be aged between 16 to 18 years and they should have achieved a grade D in GCSE Maths, or an equivalent.
