Course Description
The MBA enables students to broaden and deepen their knowledge and skills, through experiential learning and having their perceptions and interpretation of business management challenged. The MBA is a flexible programme that makes allowances for pressures experienced by students who are in employment. The core syllabus incorporates fundamental Business and Management principles that are reviewed regularly to reflect current key business issues. There is the opportunity to undertake business consultancy in national and international arenas, combine theory and practice through organisation focussed assignments and study and work with like-minded managers and tutors.

Assessment method
The course is typically assessed via a combination of work-based assignments, group and individual projects, examinations and a dissertation.

Entry Requirements
Criteria for entry to MBA should normally include: A (DMS) Diploma in Management Studies (or equivalent), AND A first degree or a relevant professional or academic qualification deemed to be of first degree standing or above (for example an approved postgraduate Certificate in Management, AND A period of work experience incorporating operational responsibilities (usually not less than four years), AND Access to employment in a public or private sector, for-profit or not-for-profit organisation.
