Course Description
This MBA aims to advance the knowledge and practice of management through a 'real-world' learning environment, structured around a vigorous analysis of organisational practice and informed by leading-edge research. This programme, accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), has been ranked among the world's top 100 MBA programmes by the Which MBA rankings 2006, compiled by the influential Economist Intelligence Unit. The programme focuses on the new management agenda, composed of issues characterised by: globalisation and regional integration; organisational transformation and corporate governance; technological innovation, e-business and information management in driving international competitiveness. You take modules and a dissertation to the value of 180 credits. The modules may include: the global business environment; managing people and organisations; managing complex projects and transformational change; developing and implementing corporate strategy; strategic marketing management; business innovation; exploring e-business; financial and management accounting; operations management; leading change; managing information; research methods and management consultancy. Part-time students attend seven three-day blocks in Year 1 and seven three-day blocks in Year 2; these include an international management consultancy trip each year.

Fees for 2007-8 are £15,450 full-time; £7,225 part-time.

Entry Requirements
The MBA is only for professionals who have significant post-graduation work experience. You must have a minimum of three years' full-time work experience and an upper-second-class Honours degree or international equivalent. Applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 575 (paper-based) of 233 (computer-based) or equivalent.
