Course Description
The Aberdeen University MBA is a one year full-time management programme which covers all the main disciplines of business management and allows students, if they wish, the opportunity to specialise their MBA degree in the field of either Marketing, Human Resource Management or Strategy. MBA students are able to take leading edge modules during our intensive summer school, which is run by visiting international scholars from around the world, as well as our own expert staff at the University of Aberdeen Business School. In drawing upon the international expertise of research-active staff, the programme promotes the development of cross-disciplinary knowledge in preparing students for effective management careers in both the private and public sectors. Students on our MBA programmes gain automatic membership of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). As a member you will gain continuing advantage from unlimited free access to the Management Information Centre, Europe's most comprehensive management resource. You also have the opportunity to benefit from local branch activities, networking opportunities and participation in online discussion groups.

Assessment method
Most modules are assessed by examination and coursework. The Critical Studies paper is 100% coursework assessed.

Entry Requirements
The minimum requirements are a good first degree (equivalent to a British second class Honours degree) and ideally 2 years relevant work experience. Evidence of English Language Proficiency is also required. The Programme Director will consider applicants with non-standard qualifications, particularly those with substantial relevant work experience.
