Course provides a foundation in business, economics and quantitative techniques as well as developing interpersonal skills needed in the workplace; students can also study a language as part of their degree, take a work placement or study abroad; this marketing pathway is for people interested in a career within the fashion industry.
Year 1: introduction of the practical and creative sides of marketing. Year 2: develops learning from year 1 and provides more of a focus on fashion. Work placement/study abroad year: opportunity of a work placement to give real-world experience; students can spend this year studying, or combining study with a work placement, in Europe, North and South America, the Far East or Australia. Final Year: focus on an integrated specialist project in fashion, or undertake a research dissertation; modules include: introduction to creative processes, introduction to technical and information technology skills, understanding market trends, and developing design for production.
