Course Description
This course aims to provide with the skills and knowledge necessary in managing marketing communications and brand support activities within organisations. The unit explains the links between communications and marketing and provides knowledge of fundamental theories of consumer behaviour, and their application to marketing communications. It includes marketing and consumer behaviour, public relations, direct marketing, sales promotion, advertising and integrated media.
Course Fees
£2530 for home students; £2990 for international students
Assessment method
Students will be assessed by integrated media and marketing and consumer behaviour modules are assessed through an assignment. Advertising, direct marketing and sales promotion and public relations modules are assessed by 3 hour examinations.
Entry Requirements
Students should have 2 years experience in a marketing communications role. Any recognised UK Degree or equivalent level 5 qualification. A relevant level 3 or above qualification e.g. CIM Professional Certificate, CIPR Advanced Certificate in public relations etc.
