Course Description
This course is for students who wish to obtain a qualification in Payroll and will be delivered according to the IAB (International Association of Book-Keepers) specifications, in a modern and well-equipped learning environment. The aim of the course is to look at all aspects of manual payroll procedures.

Entry Requirements
Candidates would be expected to: Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the regular routines involved in Payroll administration including the accurate calculation of gross pay and adjustments for statutory deductions; Demonstrate a good general knowledge of the regulations and implications of Payroll Legislation. Students must take the Level 2 examination before they are able to progress to the Level 3 course.

Equipment and Materials
Students will need to provide a non-scientific calculator. There are two workbooks on manual payroll (Level 2) and students will need to purchase these during the course at a cost of £5.00 each.
