This course is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and tools of implementing and managing non-complex projects. It is designed for junior, middle management and team leaders who have to implement projects and do not have the need for sophisticated project management methodologies. By the end of this course participants will be able to: identify the key issues in managing projects; state the life-cycle of a project from commissioning to completion; identify key stakeholders; develop robust project briefs incorporating measurable objectives; understand and use a range of approaches for estimating task durations; develop and manage effective risk management and identify preventative and contingent action; develop effective project tracking processes; evaluate project performance and apply learning for the future.
