This degree has been designed to be very flexible; it offers a wide range of options in both mathematical and non-mathematical management sciences; students explore managerial decision-making processes, investigate commonly used management science techniques and assess the means by which people and systems can be managed to improve organisational performance.
Year 1: Introduction to management; financial accounting 1; economics for management; information systems and technology; managerial decisions; management analysis; management accounting; 1 option from the School of Management or a language. Year 2: Organisations and management; principles and practice of management sciences; management research; 3 options from: business simulation; problem structuring; operations management; information systems management; European business environment; human resource management; marketing analysis; 2 options from the School of Management or other approved subject or language. Year 3: 6 options in management and management science; project dissertation.
