This course helps students increase their knowledge of proactive strategies to reduce resistance to change and create change ready teams. Tips are provided to bridge the gap between the past and the future using effective techniques to overcome barriers to change. They will leave feeling more empowered to manage reactions when communicating and adjusting to change. The workshop covers types of change and understanding potential benefits; reactive vs proactive approaches to change; strategies for change and usefulness of planning; bridging the gap from team member to team leader, from expert to manager; recognising and handling resistance to change; overcoming barriers to change and managing objections, including challenging behaviour.
