This is the course for you. The course is aimed at people who own a sewing machine and have some experience of sewing but who wish to develop their skills and create their own clothes. You'll learn how to draft your own straight skirt and an A-line skirt pattern. You will learn a range of basic sewing techniques which will enable you to construct a skirt such as; inserting a zip, sew seams correctly, sew either a waistband or facing, and learn some basic hem finishes. All candidates must own a sewing machine, have basic sewing skills and be prepared to work on their skirt in-between classes.
