This course enables students to develop their skills of leadership, strategic thinking and the management of change to help students make a real contribution to child-health nursing practice, whatever their work setting and scope of their responsibilities; it focuses on ways of including children and young people and their families in planning change; it takes students through the process of innovation and change; and provides tools for becoming an effective leader of change; students also prepare to formulate an action plan for a practice innovation or change; K335 is only open to students who have already started their study of the Nursing Practice degree.
