This course covers a wide range of foundation hair and makeup skills, such as day and evening, character, period, fantasy, special effects, body painting, traditional hairstyling, haircutting, wigs and basic wig making.
Students must have at least 4 GCSEs at grades A-C, or NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing, BTEC First Diploma in a design-related subject with a Merit, or equivalent qualification.

Course had a lot of hands on work as well as a lot of class discussions. I did feel we covered a lot but we could have cut some areas down or concentrated on areas like HTML more, which we need in IT....more
