This course is designed to explore the theory and practice of supervision from a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic perspective. It offers experienced psychoanalytic psychotherapists and psychodynamic counsellors who wish to train and register as supervisors. It aims to provide a training in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic supervision to appropriately trained psychodynamic counsellors and psychoanalytic psychotherapists. The training considers the theory that underpins supervisory technique, links theory to practice through the supervision of supervisory work and develops the ability to be aware of the processes inherent within supervision.
